Despite the odds, Gaza is a vibrant place. Some parts are beautiful, and they are some really cool people too. I found myself in the same day going from the site of a demolition to a high tech studio where Palestinian unit, a band composed of members of other hip-hop bands, was shooting a video clip and recording a song. This is Gaza: full of contrasts, beauties, scars and complexities, intense and fascinating.

Malgré les difficultés, la bande de Gaza est un endroit qui vibre. Il y a de la beauté, et des gens aussi très cool. Je me suis retrouvée dans la même journée à passer d'un site de démolition à un studio de haute technologie où Palestinian Unit, un groupe composé de membres d'autres groupes de hip-hop, tournait leur clip vidéo et enregistrait une chanson. C'est ça la bande de Gaza: pleine de contrastes, de beautés, de cicatrices et avec ces complexités et paradoxes: intense et fascinant.
