Protest camp of migrants in the middle of Brussels / Un camp de protestation de sans-papiers en plein centre de Bruxelles, 25.06.2014

Around 300 migrants, refugees, asylum-seekers coming from various countries build up a protest camp in the middle of Brussels, in a park near the Belgian immigrant office. The camp was established after the arrival of the Freedom march which crossed different countries during a 5 weeks and 500 kilometer journey. The transnational movement aims to denounce the restrictive European migration policies. The demands include permanent documents for all; freedom of movement and residency for asylum seekers, end of imprisonment and deportation. Activists intend to organize different protests during the European Council Summit which will take place the 26and 27th of June.

Environ 300 migrants, réfugiés, demandeurs d'asile, sans-papiers en provenance de différents pays ont établi un camp de protestation au coeur de Bruxelles, dans un parc près du bureau de l'immigration belge (CGRA). Le camp a été établi après l'arrivée de la marche pour la liberté qui a traversé différents pays européen lors d'un voyage de  5 semaines et 500 kilomètres. 
Ce mouvement transnational vise à dénoncer les politiques migratoires européennes restrictives. Les demandes comprennent la régularisation des sans papiers; la liberté de circulation et de résidence des demandeurs d'asile, la fin des emprisonnements et des déportations. Les militants ont l'intention d'organiser différentes manifestations au cours du sommet du Conseil européen qui aura lieu le 26 et 27 Juin.
