12 mai 2006- 12 mai 2006- J'ai eu encore un choc aujourd'hui. Cette nuit les Israeliens ont erige une nouvelle tour militaire a cote de la tombe de Rachel, en vue de la construction d'une nouvelle colonie qui va inclure une synagogue. La nouvelle tour militaire est au milieu de la route. Elle est monstrueuse et est meme surelevee par rapport aux autres. Nous sommes ici a Bethlehem- et personne ne dit rien. La colonisation continue inexorablement. A cote de la nouvelle tour militaire, un nouveau pan de Mur.
Je connais le Palestinien qui a son magasin qui se retrouve completement entouré maintenant par le Mur. C'est comme si on l'enterrait vivant a l'interieur de son magasin. Il ne pouvait pas parler aujourd’hui, sa gorge etait trop serree et ses yeux remplis de larmes. Il sait que tres bientôt il va tout perdre.
Autre nouvelle ; l’hopital de Bethlehem a annonce qu’ils allaient manquer de medicaments et qu’ils allaient devoir fermer des departements la semaine prochaine par manque de moyens.
Ce soir j’ai le mal au cœur avec tout ça.
Again today I had a shock. Last night the Israelis put a new military tower next to Rachel’s tomb where they plan to build a new colony; including a synagogue. The new military towar is in the middle of the road. The tower is monstrous and adjacent to it they also begin to build a new section of the wall. We are in the middle of Bethlehem and nobody is saying anything. The colonization continues. Last time I met the Palestinian who has a shop on this area. His shop is just next to the building that is the new colony. Now he is completely surrounded by walls, as he was buried alive. Today he simply could not talk. He was just too upset and had tears in his eyes. He knows that soon he will lose everything.
Another news: the hospital in Bethlehem announced that they will lack medicine and will have to close some departments next week because of lack of funding. Tonight all these just make me sick.
