Juliano Mer-Khamis performs at the Freedom Theater, in 2007. According to Palestinian police, well known Arab-Israeli actor, director and political activist Juliano Mer-Khamis was shot dead by "militants" in Jenin, where he ran a drama school and community theatre. But of course, until now we do not know who did it, and I am not too sure what does the police means by "militants" and how they reached this conclusion.
Juliano had an extraordinary charisma, and with his energy had managed to develop an incredible and unique place following the path of his mother, right in the middle of refugee camp in Jenin for the benefit of the Palestinian children. The news comes as a shock for all who knew his work and commitment to the Palestinian cause.

Bien sur pour l'instant nous nous savons pas qui a perpétré le crime, et je me demande ce que la police entend par "militants" et comment ils sont arrivés a cette conclusion.
Juliano avait un charisme extraordinaire, et avec son énergie a réussi à développer un endroit incroyable et unique en suivant le chemin de sa mère, en plein milieu du camp de réfugiés de Jénine, au profit des enfants palestiniens. La nouvelles est un choc pour tous ceux qui connaissaient son travail et son engagement envers la cause palestinienne.
