A group of Israeli settlers dressed up with costumes march through Shuhada Street, passing by Palestinian shops closed by Israeli military orders during the Purim celebrations in the West Bank of Hebron, Thursday, March 8, 2012.

The settlers living in Hebron under the protection of the Israeli army are known to be violent and countless attacks against the Palestinian residents have been documented by human rights organizations. Shuhada Street, once the main commercial street of Hebron has been closed to Palestinian cars by the Israeli army since 1994 and since 2001 to most Palestinian pedestrians. Hundreds of Palestinian shops had been closed by Israeli military orders.

During the march, some Israeli settlers were seen dressed as "Arabs" to mock Palestinians.
